In this 4-room HDB BTO, spatial boundaries are quietly redefined to create a home that flows with effortless grace. By integrating the dining zone with a well-positioned kitchen peninsula, the designers removed visual barriers and opened up the communal core of the home.

A smart architectural move saw the removal of the original wall between the kitchen and service yard, allowing the dry pantry to extend fluidly into the formerly segregated space. The result is a seamless expansion that feels organic, not forced.

The household shelter disappears into a backdrop of limewash-textured laminates, with hidden storage and doorways designed to be felt rather than seen. This raw yet refined treatment echoes the home’s Wabi-Sabi spirit: celebrating imperfection, tactility, and the passage of time.

There’s no need to compete for attention here. Instead, the home invites you to slow down, breathe deeper, and find beauty in simply being.
